About the Author
Kaye Remington has wide ranging experience in extending project management concepts into many fields in practice, education and research, integrating material from fields not traditionally associated with project management. Kaye Remington has 25 years' project management and senior management experience and until very recently was Course Director of the Master of Project Management program at the University of Technology Sydney. A Coherent Manual for Managing Complexity

Kaye Remington has brought together empirical research that connects project management, organizational behavior and creative strategy into one, coherent (but complex) whole. This book and its anecdotes should be a reference manual for every leading organization.

Thought provoking

This book combines the results of in-depth interviews with seventy successful leaders, a thorough review of existing sources and cogent analysis of both, to plot a successful course for the leader of complex projects.
At the beginning of each chapter there is a thought provoking quotation and at the end there is a clear summary of the key learning points.
I have found the advice on exercising political skill particularly useful, but the whole book is a very useful guide. In a world of ever increasing speed of change, perhaps most obviously in the technological, social and political environments, this book should be read by anyone trying to effect change in complex situations.
