Multiplication is the basic biological function of all organisms and is dependent upon replication of genomes. This is also true of plant viruses even though they possess a minimum of essential genetic information. Phylogenetically, replication-associated genes constitute the core elements of RNA virus genomes while other gene modules are considered as accessory elements. However, the biochemical studies on plant virus RNA replication were in their infancy even in 1999-2000. The picture has improved much since structural and sequence requirements of viral RNA replication, and synthesis are beginning to be understood, primarily because of the genetic, molecular, biochemical, and enzymatic studies conducted during the last six years. Certain virus-encoded essential proteins, nucleotide sequence motifs, and RNA secondary structures are central to virus RNA replication, which has a number of stages. Each stage is a complex phenomenon requiring specific factors and conditions. All this has generated much new information so that replication of plus-sense RNA plant viruses has now emerged as a rapidly developing field. However a lot of distance still has to be covered and traversing this distance could prove difficult because no one organised corpus of knowledge is available. Hopefully, this book fills the niche and generates understanding of multiplication of plus-sense RNA plant viruses, especially at molecular level. Nearly all the information on various aspects of plant virus multiplication has been collected, collated, and organized in eleven chapters spanning 332 pages so that this book comprehensively covers all facets of multiplication of plus-sense RNA plant viruses. Buy an older version unless you need online content

I recommend buying an old used version.
Maybe there are a few errors in those versions, but I doubt many.

Someone loaned me the fifth edition. It's identical. The questions are exactly the same. Why even make a "new edition" was there 1 piece of punctuation that needed changing somewhere?

Do not buy it if you think its different than the previous book. I checked the first page of anatomy questions from three versions and they are exactly the same. Shame that Kaplan does not sort or gives us different questions.

This is a pretty good book

This is a pretty good book. It seems to be focused towards the already skilled painter. I have just started in digital illustration and concepts so it can be confusing at times. Often it'll say things like "Refine your painting" which is an empty statement to new people. It shows step by step methods for various kinds of mechanical/futuristic things with instructions worded to allow the artist to create unique pieces. Good for both the digital illustrator and the old fashioned illustrator.

The Ga-Dangmes are Hebrews

Myself being a researcher regarding the Lost Tribes of Israel and producing works that connect the Igbo people of Nigeria to the Lost Tribe of Gad through Gad's sons Eri, Areli and Arodi I was very intrigued to come across this author and this work where he claims that the Ga-Dangmes of Ghana are also of Gad and Dan. Much of his work confirms and sheds more light of my own research. I personally contacted the author and to my surprise he believes that the Ga people are mostly from Gad's son Eri! This means the Ga and the Igbo are related and the author conformed that the Ga people passed through Igboland on their way to settle in Ghana and stayed with their Igbo brethren for a short period of time. This book is an invaluable resource for any who is interested in African and or Black History as well as those interested in the African connection to the Jewish and Hebrew people of Israel. The evidence is solid and most compelling. The work well written for the laymen as well as the scholar.
